Tuesday, May 3rd, 2005: Leela continues to feel pretty good. On Friday she went to Children's Hospital for a blood test. Her levels are above where she was at this stage after her first course of chemo. Despite missing a couple of days of school right around the time her blood levels were likely bottoming out, the effects of the chemo this time around have been extremely mild.

If the remaining four courses of chemotherapy go this smoothly, it will be a relatively easy process on all of us. However, we have been told that we should expect the side effects of the chemo to get worse after the first two or three courses. So we shouldn't get complacent.

Assuming Leela continues to feel good, she we have her third course of chemo a week from Thursday and Friday on May 12 and 13th.
