Wednesday, September 14, 2005: After three days in the hospital, Leela came home yesterday. She has been feeling fine since Saturday night and went to school today. It's nice to be back to more of a regular schedule. As is our practice, Geetha and I were doing alternating 24-hour shifts at the hospital.

We will have to give Leela IV antibiotics once a day at home for either one or two weeks-there is some disagreement among those who should know. On September 27th Leela's catheter will be removed. That was the earliest possible date. Hopefully there will be nothing to report to you prior to then.
